How Gradual House buys, renovates and sells

Gradual Perfection4 September 2026property · how-we-work

Most property companies sell other people's houses. Gradual House works the other way around: we buy with our own capital, renovate with our own crews, and sell homes we have owned and rebuilt ourselves.

Why it matters to a buyer

When the seller is also the builder, three things change:

  • One counterparty. The company that answers your questions is the company that chose the tiles, rewired the kitchen and signed the deed. There is no chain of agents between you and the facts.
  • Ready on completion day. Our apartments are sold fully furnished and fully renovated. The day the deed is signed is the day you can sleep there.
  • Plain particulars. We list what a property has — and what it does not have — on the page itself. A buyer should never discover on the doorstep what the listing chose not to mention.

Why it matters to a seller

If you own a property in Portugal and want a direct sale, we make an offer in ten days — no commission, no listing period, no open-house weekends. The property page has a short form for exactly this.

Where we work

We are a Madeira house, based at Marina Club in Funchal, and we buy on the mainland as well — the Algarve, Setúbal and Lisbon are where our current book sits. If you want to talk it through, the desk is open.
